The music in Kaer Morgen is soo good!

The Riddler is by far the most diabolical Batman villain to any gamer for those god forsaken trophies
SCREW YOU NIGMA!
Releasing tomorrow is #IHateThisPlace a game developed by @rocksquarethunder.bsky.social
Thanks to PR Pirate I got to try this early and here's my review!

To all #FFXIV users. If you could have a dedicated page for your FC to plan and share all your activities in. What would it have to offer for you to try it out with your FC?
It's not really that big of a deal. But it sums up what you find throughout the game.
Good idea, poor execution. It needed more thought, and perhaps the team would've benefitted from an outsider looking at the whole game before publishing.
It's stuff they overlooked and could've been avoided
But if you did that already, the only ending you can get is the good ending. Meaning you'll need to replay everything for the bad one and it's achievement.
Rushing is rewarded by giving you don't option to go back and finish optional stuff
Taking your time gets punished by forcing a replay. Why?
The game has 2 endings. A good and a bad.
Finishing the game places you outside the final boss area, meaning you can do that over and over. Awesome. Great if you rushed to complete the game, mopped up other dungeons and the optional boss needed for the good ending.
Awesome, no new save needed
18th game of 2025
Slime Heroes
This cute looking Souls like meets dungeon crawler is quite fun but has issues
Co-op is broken, like, it barely works for P2. Broken Achievements and getting everything in one run requires you to not try your best (explained in comments)
Fun game, needed more work
18th game of the year:
- Slime Heroes - December 25th
17th game of 2025
Lies of P
Didn't grab me, first time around, but glad I gave it a 2nd chance. It's a great Souls Like and deserves praise
Does fall flat on its ending, and the last mandatory boss is quite honestly poorly designed, leaving me with a less than favourable slot.
Great music though
17th game of the year:
- Lies of P - December 23th
Walking? Into 2026
I mean, I got the wolf medallion tattooed on my shoulder. I don't want to regret that decision
But it's the opposite. I've had such a blast. I fell in love with the game all over again! The orchestra last month was amazing. The DLC's great and this time all achievements are in the pocket too
16th game of 2025
Started replaying the Witcher because I was going to the 10th anniversary orchestra. It had been 8 years since I played it and I never did the DLC, so, perfect time for a revisit
I was quite nervous. I was barely an adult. I'm a more mature gamer now, what if it's all nostalgia?
16th game of the year:
- The Witcher 3: complete edition - December 6th
333
Well, guess I'll have 2 shit years back to back, whatever!!
A theme room you change every so often
- wedding hall
- super mario room
- boxing arena
- concert hall
- graveyard
- gym
I'm such a fool. I said things to people like:
"nah, they wouldn't announce it if it's not releasing in 3 years"
and
"they wouldn't waste that initial hype in early development, they've been working on it longer than we think"
I'm sorry, I jinxed it
Oh yeah, I get what you meant.
What I meant to say is that a game would deserve the "didn't reinvent the wheel" criticism if it failed on both aspects. The games that are lackluster in play & writing.
I'd argue you can reinvent story telling though. That's still innovation and very important innovation at that
It's what I always find funny about Story > gameplay or gameplay > story posts, because both matter so much. A great game will excel at atleast 1 of the 2, sometimes it's story > gameplay
I agree, but I do think that there are games out there that are just... There.
Like it doesn't do anything you won't get from another game, to the point you wonder, I also could've played game X instead of Y and it feels like it exists just to exist. And for a creative outlet like you'd expect more
If the switch is up, it means the light is turned on
I'm going on Sunday!
If you dont want to be called a unicorn, just don't get stabbed in the forehead, it's that easy
It's not about what you need, it's about what you crave!!
Happy birthday man!
Didn't he try to sue CDPR for extra money after the Witcher 3's succes despite deals surrounding the IP where made previously?
Lies! LIES!!
