Very true, we don't just see the effects of climate change in weather patterns-it's affecting our food systems too. Another example: Climate change is affecting peach production in Georgia, with warmer winters and late frosts making it difficult for trees to produce the fruit we are known for.
In Sanger, CA, many issues have affected the health of community members(droughts, poor air quality).I experienced the effects of pesticides and air pollution. Growing up in a city that felt a heavy weight of environmental impacts shaped my desire to improve the conditions of our world.
