Yes, that is decision fatigue and it is common to everyone. In fact, a famous marketing study proved that if you give people too many choices, they are most likely to choose "none at all". So taking a break is a really good idea then.
The problem with culling is when you have a lot of good pieces but not necessarily great pieces. Bad shots are easy to spot and great pieces tend to just jump out at you. But it’s the good shots tend to drive you crazy. That’s why I do two sets of reviews.
