I don't really enjoy travelling to London (from Somerset) for work, but it's always a highlight to see the red kites from the train.

Where was this criticism when former Conservative PMs literally suppressed the Russia report?
A solid 9/10 for this barnet.
He's not the messiah, he's a very naughty boy!
If you're wondering, here are the other seven. The Utahraptor and Leaellynasaura are my originals from childhood, the others I have sourced this year.
I DID have an Ophthalmosaurus, but it seems to have vanished in a house move and I'm still in mourning. You can't find one now for less than ยฃ99...
New to my collection today, the BBC Toyway Walking With Dinosaurs Allosaurus and Iguanodon.
They're in great condition considering they are 28 years old!
Now I feel old...
That takes me to 9 of the 12 models, missing the (dreadful) T.rex and the two marine reptiles.
Quite cursed. I don't like it ๐ Must have been a heck of a picky eater with that tiny beak on its face.
You have no idea how jealous I am of the Ophthalmosaurus. I had that, plus the Utahraptor/Leaellynasaura pair when they first released, but have since lost the Ophthalmosaurus :(. Of course now I find out it's super rare and expensive.
Anyway here's my current hoard.
I love the burst of colour that comes this time of year with the Acer palmatum 'Orange Dream' busting into leaf. A pity it doesn't last longer.
It should also be law that April Foolsday posts are removed at 12:00 on 1st April, because what do you mean I'm still seeing them today?
Stunning ๐
You know, the world doesn't need April Fools Day this year. Can we just not? I'm too tired. Every day people are trying to trick us with AI and clickbait so it's really lost its novelty.
Good political leaders aren't in the news every day.
In honesty, a mumber of these have been bought more recently from eBay and Vinted to complete the set, but 14 of them are my original childhood colection.
I have already suggested to Dave Hone that the next Spinosaur he names should be called Ichthyodactylus, because why hasn't a big clawed piscivore been called "Fish Finger" yet?
It doesn't have to be Dr Hone. That name is free to whoever wants it, preferably for a Baryonychine.
Oh and all this from the Natural History Museum in London many years ago. The greatest dinosaur toy range of all time.
Absolutely right. Went to a great aquarium last week with our 1 year old that had a green turtle as a star attraction.
The gift shop was full of aquatic plushes, and we went home with a lovely turtle plush.
Sounds like you're going in completely open-minded then...
3/3
Some more highlights 2/3
Great family day out at the Cotswolds Wildlife Park and Gardens yesterday. Seeing a Cassowary was a big highlight.
We're really living in the worst timeline. I'm so tired.
Good content creators.
I desperately need to go back there.
I am very aware of your horned crocodile-faced hell heron. Phenomenal naming.
When you next name a Spinosaur, can you name it Ichthyodactylus for me?
'Fish fingers' feels so right ๐
Thought of you immediately when I read this ๐
I like this.
South America had no chill, either before or after the KPg boundary.
Titanosaurs and Charcarodontosaurs vs Terror birds and landcrocs. Amazing ecology.
Oh, easy. The majority right wing media are hellbent on destroying him and the journalists we previously considered sensible aren't reporting the good things that are happening, preferring instead to join in the psychodrama. So it's all a bit one way when it comes to influencing public perception.
Yep, I'd be happy being guarded by that Spino.
