An e-stop would've ended the suffering quicker, if properly implemented.

I wonder how long it took people to attempt to hit any sort of emergency stop. Some robots have wireless e-stops, I've heard.
Or, did it just stop flailing around and shut off on its own due to unrecoverable errors?
Registered service centers? In THIS economy?
I had to get back into the habit of reloading in Sea of Thieves after spending so many years playing TF2's Favorite Bullet Hose™ for so long. :V
Indeed he does. I still remember when he was asked about Project 2025 and he answered:
"I dunno, I've never read it, I don't know anything about it", immediately followed by "There were parts I liked and parts I didn't like".
IBM's already got that one.

Shame it didn't work out for the ONE purpose they made it for, on account of not having access to patient data (HIPAA I imagine) and it couldn't interpret Dr.'s notes.
How do the welds look?
That's how I feel about Sea of Thieves at this point.
It's a janky, broken, buggy mess, but when it works, it works so well.
When I get a new follower:
Did you know he was the Predator, too? :V
...Not, like, wearing the suit, but that creepy noise it makes, that was him.
I kinda gave up on her when she started shilling NFTs, TBH.
Rob Paulsen, too. Damn shame, but like they say, "never meet your heroes", I guess.
IIRC, someone did that, and they made it policy to NOT do that afterwards.
Though it could be a rumor, too, but according to the tale, they DID make mad bank. :V
Cracks me up that at least 2 former banks in my town are now dispensaries. :V
I thought this was answered already...

Come to think of it, they may have even been operating a boiler illegally. IIRC any place that has a boiler has to have a licensed boiler technician on-site at all times, and that guy went home with the rest of management at 5PM. 🫠
Oh yeah, I also worked night shift, so if anything broke, there was no maintenance crew to fix any of it, we had to do it all ourselves, or face an endless barrage of stupid-ass questions about why we stopped working.
*Because THE FACTORY isn't working, you insufferable muppet!*
Probably the crappiest part though was you weren't supposed to leave until your area was clean.
When shifts were 8 hrs., that was fine.
When they went to 12 hr. shifts, the managers went home at 5PM, and day shift didn't leave until much later, so I would be blessed with TWO shifts of mess to clean
At first, it wasn't *terrible*.
8 hour shifts, weekends off but you could come in and clean the machines for OT if you wanted.
Then they went to 24/7 operation and things REALLY started to go to hell. Machines constantly breaking down, and 12 hours of banging/shoveling/reaching is hell on your back.
-to fire anybody because they went through employees like Kleenex as it was.
Place was miserable to work for. The manager was hired 'cause they were a "numbers guy" and the "numbers guy" fucked up the plant my first week by trying to make us process more whey than the drums could handle. :/
Reminds me of when I worked in a whey plant, I was "randomly" selected for drug tests all the time, even though that was many, many years before I did any sort of drugs like cannabis. I didn't even drink! The ladies at the lab suggested it was because the company knew I was clean and couldn't afford
Oh yeah, it was also a 9PM showing on a school night and there were like MAYBE 20 people in the theater so...
Reminds me of when a friend and I went to see "WALL-E" in theaters, and we were "blessed" by a small child who was just non-stop:
"What's happening?"
"Where's WALL-E?"
"What's happening?"
"Where's WALL-E going?"
"What's going on?!"
"What's happening?"
"What happened to WALL-E?"
For the ENTIRE. FILM.
"Artificial Ignorance" at its finest. :/
The days when I could switch to another tab to do research when responding to ignorant folks without worrying if the comment section I'm *actively* typing a response in will even be there when I tab back in...
Well, Trump did say he likes to surround himself with losers so he can feel better about himself...
The other benefit is, it's not Facebook. :V

Thinking back to the time I saw a nest that had been knocked down for ages, but the sumbitch was still a foot across...
