This collection of stories has simultaneously wrecked and rebuilt parts of me and I'm howling that it came to an end. Thankfully I have Alice Stoehr's Again, Harder to follow this up or I don't know that I'd make it through the weekend without some sort of spirit shot diet yokai methadone.

I got banned from twitter in 2023 for this drawing. They called it "violent speech". It had over 40K likes and too many comments for me to read before my ban, but I still see it floating around here and there. Save a copy, and use it freely. No attribution needed. Love u

worth remembering, David Lynch directed “fix your hearts or die” specifically at transphobes. it wasn’t a generic “no mean people allowed” statement, it was said by his Twin Peaks character in defense of a trans woman he cared for and deeply respected.

Hailey Piper holding up the new edition of her book No Gods for Drowning, cover art by Anna Chiara Stagi

My baby is back in print today 🥰

A woman trying to save her city has to slit a few throats to do it in this noir-inspired dark fantasy world, a story I wanted to tell that was the reason I became a writer.

NO GODS FOR DROWNING, out now from Bad Hand Books 🔪🌊
