HIGHLIGHTS: ... the girl who ran back to give me some candy 🙂 and the princess-in-pink daughter and her new immigrant mom who said she was learning English and asked if I had a book for her too (she now has "Little House on the Prairie").

What filled me with hope for the world this year? ... Overheard from both kids and teens at my 5TH ANNUAL TRICK-OR-BOOK:
- "I remember this from last year! This is the BEST house!"
- "Do you have little-kid books that my mom can read to the baby?" (Why, yes indeed...)
- "We're here again!"
