Gabi is positioned perfectly to get to where the ball ends up. And then...

Exactly what I was talking about most of the match…

1 day ago 0 0 0 0

All starts from the lack of communication and press..
The lines are SO disjointed, and it just leaves tons of open room to run straight at goal

1 day ago 0 0 0 0

It’s clear the press and the pressing trigger just doesn’t work..
Ødegaard is clearly frustrated by the lack of movement around him, and it’s leaving tons of room to pass through

Same, it seems counterintuitive 😅

Which is extra odd, given that the reason they don’t in the attack is to not get chinned..
But honestly there’s more chance of that, by screwing up right in front of goal, than when losing it in the opposition box🤷🏻‍♂️

So the longer we can just stand and wait, the fresher the legs and the more time wasted.
City needs a goal, I suggest we don’t give it to them and just try and play what’s on offer tonight.
Hopefully they overcommit and Martinelli sucker punches them in the 89th minute

I’m think the concept today is that we don’t try anything.
They pressed like mad last time, and we were sucked into it.
This time around we keep a distance and just stand, since we don’t necessarily need a win and especially not by pressing them back

Yeah probably, but can he manage without quickly getting booked as well 😂
Guess it depends whether the ref like the national team and the whole White saga

1 day ago 0 0 0 0

Oh I agree!
But the ref thinks he’s seen a bunch of fouls so he feels forced to give the card based on that assumption

Eze isn’t following his man, and Ødegaard just doesn’t seem quuuuite ready, he’s getting run by and getting last to most balls so far.
Noni seems like a deer in headlights so far, so all in all an interesting approach so far 😂🙈

They’ve tried and every time they hit it out of field..

1 day ago 0 0 0 0

He’s been doing a fair few small fouls, and the ref seems to be walking in small shoes today

I will keep banging this drum, until the team starts actually shielding some passing lanes..
It’s beginning to look like neglect, there’s simply way too much space every single time

Arsenal are leaving way too much space for passes through the lines.
There’s an absurd amount of room left to simply slot it through the lines at the edge of the penalty box

How does a team go from such extremes, as what we’ve seen with Arsenal..
Absolutely LETHAL on corners for months, and then one day to another completely forget what to do🙃

Feel free to subscribe to The Athletic, and check their archives.
Quoting you other sources stating “The Athletic reports that” isn’t enough so stuck at the pay wall😅

Good luck tonight against Chelsea btw

I am not super invested in either or mate 😂
He thought he was ready and wanted a lot of money, even if he isn’t paid a lot of money he still was and isn’t ready, yet🤷🏻‍♂️
I could probably link you to some danish sources, but what would be the point when your mind is set.

The rumour was 100.000+ which The Athletic quickly shot down as being a lie and absurd, they themselves claimed double of Arsenals offer.

I wish him well, he’s danish same as me, but that doesn’t change the fact that he’s paid a whooole lot of money and wasn’t as ready as he himself thought

It’s been mentioned quite a few times on their podcast, when covering the transfer/free move to ManU. I don’t personally subscribe to their written platform🤷🏻‍♂️
Pretty much every podcast discussion, was reporting doubling the offer from Arsenal, which Ornstein reported as being £15.000

If you want to label @theathleticfc.bsky.social as an unserious source of football news, be my guest.
I’ll just continue to believe what the credible journalists, with clear ties to the club is reporting.

He’s getting €35.000 per week, as a youth player, which is waaay more than any of his peers at that level..
He’s getting around €1.8 million a year, while the median salary in Serie A is between 1.5 and 2 million.
So yes, he’s getting paid a boatload more than normal

Weird spending that much money on salaries and then putting him in the youth team..
Either he’s ready and is deserving of the salary, or he isn’t ready for the first team and therefore shouldn’t be paid an enormous salary 🤷🏻‍♂️

Mate, he’s done 😅
As much as I loved him when he was flying, he’s just toast at this point😬

I honestly can’t tell he’s been working with the team at all..
If they hadn’t announced it, would you have noticed any change at all?

And he looked reeeaaally heavy running back there

5 days ago 0 0 0 0

If we are lucky, he’s simply playing through pain and not aggravating anything

5 days ago 0 0 0 0

A case of not liking what you see, but unable to come up with a better solution..
There’s literally no other fit players available, so what is he supposed to do.
