The fact that all of them knew that this bill was going against the best interests of their constituents speaks volumes... AND THEY ALL STILL VOTED FOR IT! Not one of them had the fortitude nor the backbone to speak up, not just on behalf of their constituents but on behalf of the nation at large.

This is the most unnecessary display of potential authoritarianism there can be. Why is there this need to put the military on display like this? The man dodged the military draft 5 times... that should tell anyone everything they need to know about the man, and that's a loose descriptor of him.
