Just waiting on The Atlantic to post the WWIII war plans so Congress can catch up on who exactly we’ve decided to bomb this week.

But hey, at least this national security threat was proudly #MadeInUSA.

Are we great yet?

This whole thread is a pretty good example of exactly why Democrats lost GenZ. Sincerely, A lifelong Democratic voter and Xennial that absolutely failed my AuDHD LGBTQ+ GenZ kiddo despite the fact that they never owned a tablet

What are some sources that you with GenZ used?

You’re assuming that they’re not thinking critically because they’re believing conspiracy theories. I’m suggesting that it’s actually a sign that they ARE. They’re displaying open-mindedness and evidence-based decision-making. It’s just that the evidence is their lived experience of the government.

That’s a gross oversimplification but I do agree that they were collectively failed. They’re an incredibly insightful, creative, and resilient generation and are learning to navigate being young adults. They’re not lazy or dumb. They know “official” sources are carefully curated.

I hear what you’re saying and don’t entirely disagree. I think it’s equally important to consider that the experience that GenZ has had with society and the US Government has made it clear that stories like this actually aren’t as unbelievable as we once considered.

No matter where you fall on the TikTok ban, the President undoing by “executive order” a law passed by Congress and upheld unanimously by the Supreme Court is an unconstitutional abuse of power.

The image shows two outstretched hands, each holding a pill: one red and one green. Text overlays the image, with “Meta” written near the red pill and “TikTok (brought to you by Meta)” written near the green pill. The visual reference evokes the iconic “red pill vs. blue pill” choice from The Matrix, humorously contrasting Meta and TikTok as options.
