It was all just so piecemeal. I guess someone had a chequebook and knew how to use it. And tbf, Native Instruments has a ton of value. Just not much innovation (Massive X anyone?). But in the long term, I worry whether I'll be able to install my older software on a new computer.

So, today, Native Instruments have gone into preliminary insolvency. TBH, it kinda doesn't surprise me - the whole Soundwide re-arrangement, the Izotope and Brainworx acquisition (that made no sense), the promise to merge the logins for each company into one - it never worked...

I mean, there's no plan... I have nothing to sell, a lot of thoughts, and a slightly clearer mind... But equally, I have mixes to finish this week 😂

I took a near total social media break last year. It did me a lot of good.. But I might just be able re-engage... We did a lot of music, a lot of mixes, and ended up in few people's favs of the year... Perhaps it's time to do this again 😊.
