I think what we've got so far is great (death stranding, snowrunner series), I just want more games of this genre in general. And in mine, I want to add an atmospheric horror spin to the thing.

Thank! I'm doing my best to make the map fun to traverse and explore

The game's core gameplay is about off-road driving and exploration, so no, but a sonar-only navigation game sounds cool as a concept tbh

Yes, I have wrote an entire synthesizer just to generate radio frequency scanner's sounds in my game.

Began modelling outpost buildings today. I might have went a little bit too far with how stinky this interior looks lmao

Sulay Rally Raid - Release Trailer
Sulay Rally Raid - Release Trailer YouTube video by Data Sparrow

Sulay Rally Raid, our new 1-to-2 player journaling game is OUT NOW - and it's pay-what-you-want, OST included.

We've also made a trailer for it, which might be a bit much -but hey, now you get to hear @mac.buried.gay deliver a silky-smooth mission briefing.

I've finally got a steam page set up. You can wishlist the game, if anyone's interested. Check it out!

Also, I'll be posting more devlog updates here in the near future, there's a whole bunch of cool stuff I wanna show off.

Is this too much promo for a 3-pamphlet journaling game with a music album attached? Potentially!

Will we pass up the chance to make a cool visual, whether the project is 3 pamphlet or 500 pages? Nope!

So yes, it's out tomorrow. Hope to see you there!

Prospice on Steam Prospice blends tense driving and atmospheric horror as you haul cursed cargo across a haunted island, where the terrain hungers and the roads remember.

Last but not least, Prospice by @whynotartdump.bsky.social seems to veer straight into the scary parts of notable "fucked up cargo"-type game Death Stranding. It was literally unveiled today, but it looks cool enough to shout out.

You can wishlist it here: store.steampowered.com/app/4067370/...

Yeah I'm a huge fan of the entire series, but I wanna put my own spin on the concept

Thanks! I started the whole project just as a fun exercise to learn how to do physic-y vehicle controller and it grew into something bigger.

There ain't enough player-versus-terrain games around, so I might be making one.

Web 1.0 website which documents image processing techniques

Bless you Abeer George Ghuneim for making this website 25 years ago, somehow it's still the most understandable explanation of how the moore-neighbor tracing algorithm works.

I don't remember who said it but "producer is the person who makes sure the game gets finished" is such a great description and I use it whenever I have to explain this role to someone

Not using "gimmick" in a derogatory way btw, I genuinely wish we will get more shooters like this which keep the same core gameplay but squeeze a lot of different mechanical vignettes out of it. The last thing I've played that comes close is probably Titanfall 2's campaign.

Me and a couple of friends coined the term gimmick shooter in regards to some shooters from that era. One chapter it's an entire road trip in a vehicle, then it's a resource-scarce horror, then you control an army of bugs in a prison break.

Somehow totally forgot that not every enemy type in your movement game is obligated to have equal/better mobility than the player character, so I spent this weekend prototyping generic grunts.
They still shred you in seconds if you are slow, but become cannon fodder the moment you start schmoving.

Oh man we lost so many awesome studios in the last couple of years

Despite being a big MonHun nerd I never thought of it before...

I'm torn between making it more combat-focused or tricks-focused. Really love how in SSX tricks are still useful in race mode, as they fill up a speed boost bar. Maybe I should incorporate something similar... 🤔

One of my current pet projects is an untitled tribes-physics-adjacent singleplayer game. It's still in the "the core movement is really fun but I have no idea what to do with it" stage of development, bul I'll figure something out eventually.

Hello world! Guess I'll begin with reposting some of my old stuff here, so people who followed me on other social media can remember who I was by my art lol
