Where do we go for acute issues that are caused by our chronic illnesses? The ER doesn’t manage our issues. Well neither do our doctors. So where do we go. What do we do? We sit at home and hope it’s not fatal.

I would love @susanholtnb.bsky.social and the minister of health to weigh in on this.

This is not quite accurate.
In NB, only facilities under the anglophone regional health authority, @horizonhealthnb.bsky.social reinstated masking.
The francophone regional health authority, @vitalitenb.bsky.social has not reinstated masking, had not done so last year either...

Friends and comrades made a crowdfunding page for my family.

It’s really hard to post this. I know that there are a lot of other important issues asking for money but things have gotten to the point where we need to open ourselves up to your support.

Thank you for your consideration.

Woke up to pee and for some reason I decided to punt this thing again and look what changed … now if only the actual healthcare system would switch to respirators and deploy HEPA and other IAQ improvements.

This is a really clear yet meaty interview with @mark-bray.bsky.social about the actual tactics and history of antifa movements. Will be sharing with students! www.cbc.ca/radio/frontb...

“Someone” cancelled my family’s flight out of the country at the last second.

We got our boarding passes. We checked our bags. Went through security. Then at our gate our reservation ‘disappeared.’

I presented our work at the national public health conference and the number 1 thing people said to me was “you shouldn’t have to be spending your own money on respirators and tests for the public!” Yeah, we shouldn’t. #nbpoli

WOW. Look at this story in Newsweek about a couple of fit adults in NB heavily affected by COVID. Imagine if @govnb.bsky.social had told people there was evidence AGAINST exercising directly after infection! #nbpoli www.newsweek.com/mom-captures...

A well fitted respirator can also help reduce the smokes impact on your body.

We have free respirators in kids and adult sizes. They are free to anyone in New Brunswick. We can deliver, arrange a pickup or even mail them if we don’t have a volunteer close.
