I feel truly fortunate to join such a talented group of dedicated journalists, and I’m deeply grateful for all I learned (and the great people I worked with) at Cowboy State Daily.

When I moved back home to Colorado nearly two years ago, my goal was to work at the Sun — a newsroom I’ve admired since its inception.

I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be joining The Colorado Sun later this month as the editor of its Public Policy team, helping lead the Sun’s political coverage.

This is an obvious point, but cannot overstated. There is an enormous difference between deporting someone - where they get off a plane as a free citizen in their home country AND FUNNELING THEM INTO A BRUTAL PRISON FROM WHICH THEY HAVE NO CHANCE OF EVER EMERGING!!!

Boulder wins Sundance Film Festival starting in 2027, beating out Utah and Ohio Polis and state legislators had been working since last year to shore up incentives for the event, gathering $35 million to dangle in front of festival leaders.
