Going in I wasn't aware of the setting, and I'm in awe of the research and imagination needed to make something that feels this grounded and specific. Amazing!
The generous cross-hatching is the PERFECT fit for this claustrophobic, hallucinatory horror. So textured and alive that the reader is swept right into the panic and delusion. Halftone over hatching, decade over decade, panel over panel.
