Went bouldering for the first time this past weekend and my hands barely work.

And found this awful view at Cape Horn, WA.

Took a family vacation and did a little zip line and aerial ropes course. A great reminder that I am old and out of shape.

My only interest was watching movies on flights. Trying to juggle an iPad, a drink or food and that narrow space between you and the reclined passenger in front of you is … awful.

Transformative for my career too. I worked up the courage to talk to other DBAs (incl those from Twitter) there and eventually made friends out of so many of them.
