I got a new Roku streaming stick because they offered 4K streaming, but the first couple of #RedSox broadcasts I watched weren’t in that definition output.
…it’s because I didn’t select the 4K feed 🤦🏻♂️

So I have to correct what I said. If we had this clarification from the start it would have been better.
ESPN Unlimited is monthly, so 30/mo for March-Sept is 210. Then you add 150 (roughly- ‘26 package price hasn’t been revealed yet) for MLB.TV. That’s a $360 investment.
So if I’m understanding correctly I need BOTH MLB.TV and ESPN Unlimited in order to watch games outside of my market? Meaning I have to pay $30/month on top of the $150+ that MLB.TV costs? Make it make sense.

It’s not as simple as that though. The ways that teams make revenue and the amounts they make aren’t the same. That’s where the biggest imbalances are. Bridging those gaps might be where the answers are.
I don't agree that MLB needs a salary cap. Even if I did the time for that was over 100 years ago. What I do think MLB needs is a way to incentivize the owners that don't spend money to actually do it, not punish the ones who are paying non-spending teams with the CBT money.
The Ranger Suarez deal seemed to come together pretty quickly. I wonder if that was percolating in the background or if that offer was far and away the best one he had gotten. His market was pretty quiet. #RedSox

Most MLB media saying the #RedSox efforts to get Joe Ryan were "feeble" or "not close."
Meanwhile the Sox are saying the opposite, that they put forth their best effort but "things didn't line up."
Given how the only one saying they tried hard is them I know who I believe.
#RedSox went with the “inventory over impact” approach to their Trade Deadline and watched all of their Wild Card competitors get better.
