Just as with homophobia - we know it's fear from an individual accepting the reality of who they are. I would bet my life on it that Joanne's issues are deep rooted in them being unable to accept who they are. You have a lot of time to think when you live isolated in a mansion/castle.

We had our own shorts with the school logo on, posh we were 😂. Genuinely cannot recall primary, have vague memories on the gym fold up wall climbing frame but idea what we wore. I've just realised something, underpants is what I remember them being called. Called pants pants & underwear underpants.

You did PE in your underwear? What is this Kes?

I live in the UK, it definitely means trousers. Anything worn from the waist to ankle we describe as pants, yes pants can mean rubbish or pants like breathing. I have always said pants to describe all except underwear as they can be boxers, shorts or whatever.

Where are you - UK? I've never heard one person in my entire life use pants for underwear. Panties yeah for women. Do you use "got" instead of "have" by any chance? As in "I've got* to go to work" or "I've got* to catch a bus". In my hometown it seemed got & get were substituted for a lot of words

Also I don't know anyone here in the UK who calls their underwear pants. Either boxers, briefs or shorts. Never heard them called pants. Only use that for literal pants & jeans, joggers, suits etc

It's the words got* & get* that are the issue. Instead of got, it should be "he made me gag" he couldn't "got you gagging". He could get you your bill & would have got that from your file. It's the tense which then changes the whole meaning. Gagging can mean sick, shutting up, wanting & more.

There's many things wrong with that last sentence & on more than one level 😂

Well it's not really like that when you think about it.

You wouldn't say someone gets you sick would you? You'd say they make you sick.

The key word here is "gets". When you're gagging for something - wanting - you'd certainly say it gets you gagging.

e.g - "I'm gagging for a drink"

Someone that makes you gag would literally be "he/she makes me gag"

So to me that reads like you're turned on by him and want him lol

Gets you gagging or makes you gag? As they're two completely different things in my neck of the woods.

I know of a few people who caught it as adults & were seriously ill, the assumption - I believe - from my mum was catching pox as a child protected me. She had no idea I'd be whacked with shingles repeatedly whenever it decided to come out of hiding.

It's bizarre, makes zero sense. I'll literally be ill for a few weeks with flu symptoms, headaches & feeling like shite - then the itching starts & then the blisters. So a good month, then & only then will they offer tablets to prevent risk of prolonged pain but it's too late and pointless.

My drs won't give me the shingles vax due to the fact I'm "too young" despite being treated yearly for shingles. Something wrong with my immune system and I break out quite often, normally shoulder, hip or across half my eye/face. Even have nerve damage. It's £500+ private.

I hope that every politicians that supports cutting support to the most needy has a severe injury which leads to their inability to function, that they struggle in agony from morning noon & night, that they are insulted when parking, can't afford heating, survive on dust & are hounded daily for life

Anyone from Fallowfield added a single storey extension on their home? Manchester has an Article 4 Direction but my understanding is you only need planning under this for converting business to residential or HMO? Would be on boundary wall, online states ~3m height doesn't need it?

So mysterious that the article itself states it's from the interactions of two dying stars magnetic fields.

Just seen a review for curtains where the buyer has given them 1 star on the basis that the curtains allow light underneath. They've literally put a video up demonstrating this, they're around 3ft too short but it's the curtains fault that they allow light in the mother of all gaps? 😂

UPS has to have one of the worst user friendly systems on the planet. It's a total shambles, whether if be sending or receiving packages, their website is one of the worst I've ever used.

So they're not even looking for the cause of the degeneration & when you put everything together it's right there screaming out AS! Has anyone else gone through this? How did you finally get them to diagnose? Have I got grounds for legal action? They're sitting on all the info but ignoring it

1 year ago 0 0 0 0

These all point literally to the symptoms list for AS. My partner & his colleagues have all determined it's AS. Senior clinicians literally stating but my dr's just say "no no no we can see it's disc degenerative disease" & won't do anything more? Disc degeneration is literally what AS does too (10)

In with AS! My GP has left me to just live with the issue now since March 2020, I have to beg for medication. They'll only supply small amounts which is costing me a fortune for prescriptions as I need them more than once a month. They have all the bloods & reports showing the issues & combined (9)

Different specialist, all on my medical record & knows I have severe degeneration yet is ignoring the blatantly obvious condition which ties it in. I also have issues with my hips, knees & ligaments! My right hip clicks & you can feel & hear it do this. Was told this is ligaments which again tie (8)

A formal complaint on my behalf & told me to my face age has nothing to do with genetics! When you're at risk you can have issues at any age etc. She also stated due to the test results she believed I had autoimmune disease. So my GP has a long list of problems which have all been confirmed via (7)

Having major problems, it took changing my GP within the same health centre to get listened to & by that time it meant the prostate issues were really bad. I was told repeatedly "you're too young" even though every male in my family has either died from PC or currently has it. The urologist made (6)

Text book symptoms, they all tie into AS too, separately they look like issues on their own but once you look at AS it makes sense. Yet my GPs are refusing to even cater to the idea, I've had prostate issues too & the urologists went mad because originally my GP wouldn't even check me when I was (5)

The indicators of having autoimmune disease. This is all on my medical file & there's several constant issues I've been seeing my GP for before my back going & MRIs. I've had bloods done three times in the last few years confirming markers had increased more. All this fits AS - it's literally (4)

Constant pain down my left hand ribs which resulted in an ECG, that showed issues & cardiologist confirmed LVH & thinning. They also did bloods showing elevated markers, referred to rheumatology, then neuro which have all confirmed high inflammation & have been told prior to my MRIs I had all (3)
