I think many Republicans have become infected by germs carried back to Earth by Elon's space missions. Symptoms include loss of taste, inability to tell right from wrong and increased aggression toward kind people. I know it seems like a stretch but it's the only explanation I can think of.

Yes, I remember Ross Perot but I don't think we should start at the Presidential level. Having a third party in Congress with enough votes to swing elections one way or another will necessitate coalitions that will bring about compromise. All this assumes that democracy remains!

We were just getting started. Now it seems like we have to climb the hill again just to get one step forward. I'm not recommending violence, but for god's sake we have to stand up and scream for deomocracy.

Every time we throw meat to Trump, he grows stronger. We will never be able to be more cruel than he is; what we can do is stand face-to-face with him and let his supporters see him clearly for what he is, a man without a soul.

Democrats could have looked for alternatives to capitulation. Encourage donations to food banks; shame the wealthy into large donations to help; call for a large pro-compassion demonstration in front of the White House (what's left of it.) Do whatever you can think of except caving in to him.

Trump is like a vampire; he sucks the life out of everything he touches. We need to find ways to force him into the sunlight to destroy him. It was working until a few Dems got scared. Always remember that Trump needs to be starved out of the dark hole he is in. Do not capitulate!!!

There are some Democrats who don't understand the nature of power. Trump has a big gaping whole where his soul should be. You can't negotiate with someone like that. Neville Chamberlain and Stalin thought they could negotiate with Hitler and we can see how that turned out.

Those damn cowardly democrats have just undone the hard work of so many of us. We must all be stronger than the fascists and we must be united. Different points of view are welcome but we cannot capitulate to tyranny.

I couldn't say it any better myself. I'm in full agreement. It's time for a change. Either the Democrats must change or we need a new (3rd) party. To hell with cowards.
