@bfastallday.bsky.social I know you guys weren’t big fans at the time but would you be willing to do a re-review for SPEED RACER (2008) to commemorate the 4K IMAX re-release coming up??

It’s gained a new estatic fanbase since its release. And it’d be interesting to see how yalls takes have changed.

I think it's time that I make all my cohosts speak with the thickest regional accents they can manage. I'll compensate with a midwestern accent so dense that the Coen Bros would flinch, even though I'm from Arizona where they don't have accents.

RIP Tom Noonan, a friend for 18 years. Often typecast as villains, he was an actor's actor, a unique playwright & filmmaker, a gifted composer, and a pianist with a sweet voice. My kids & I used to go to his tiny apartment for dinner (pizza). We'd have a few drinks & he'd start to play. Magic.

I am hoping this essay on Diane Keaton in REDS will still go live tomorrow, but I want to let subscribers to my site know that we are expected to get a blizzard overnight and into tomorrow for the duration of the entire day & that is a variable that I cannot predict. Hopefully it won't be too bad

Sundance 2026: I Want Your Sex, The Incomer, Paralyzed by Hope: The Maria Bamford Story | Festivals & Awards | Roger Ebert The last Sundance in Park City is off to a good start with a truly horny film from one of its favorite sons.

My first dispatch from the final Park City Sundance features three very different films, except for the fact that they all made me laugh. www.rogerebert.com/festivals/su...

In this clip from a longer interview, she says while she was in detention, agents called Renee Good a “lesbian b*tch.”

This video belongs to @statuscoupnews.bsky.social and I’ll take it down if they want me to.

That finale kind of felt like a mid season finale instead of a series finale.

This has nothing on the 2017 delusion when Kendrick dropped DAMN and all his super fans were convinced he’d drop companion album the next week called NATION.

Only for KDot to release a special addition vinyl with just a reversed tracklist lol.

Kelly Reichardt’s “The Mastermind” Reinvents the Heist Movie This action drama, set in 1970 and starring Josh O’Connor, brings political conflict and existential comedy into the finely observed details of crime and escape.

I loved this movie. Like many of Kelly Reichardt movies, it sneaks up on you, but this one carried a particular wallop.

James Cameron Finally Lets His Freak Flag Fly in Avatar: Fire and Ash Avatar: Fire and Ash might be the messiest of the Avatar movies, but it’s also the richest, and maybe the craziest.

AVATAR: FIRE AND ASH rocks. I can’t wait to see it again. www.vulture.com/article/jame...
