I was 13 when the Columbine school shooting happened today 27 years ago.
Today my daughter is 13, and gun violence in schools in the last 2 1/2 decades has gotten worse than the teen me could’ve ever imagined.
I thought Columbine was the bottom of an abyss, not the opening crack.
