Is this thing still on?
Have restarted Monday Morning Manager on @cityxtra.bsky.social’s YouTube. New episode on the League Cup Final is out now!
Posts by Dillon Meehan
Drink it in Arsenal fans, you’ve beaten the worst City side in a decade. Enjoy your trophy-less season and see you next year 🫡
Cannot empathize how badly I needed this transfer to happen in the summer of 2014
10 years too late
If these results hold, a City win in the derby would put them level with Arsenal and only 5 points behind Liverpool...just saying
I didn’t, but I should have
The “lowest point total since Mancini’s final season” is an excellent headline stat, but is devoid of any context.
The amount of injuries and fitness issues the squad has faced is insurmountable, even if more players were brought in during the summer
I don’t even know how to process a Haaland header
Good Morning!

My top four video games
My top four movies
My top four albums
Separate from City Xtra, and EA Sports FC, I host a movie pod with two of my best friends. It’s a writer (me), an actor and a director chatting about film. But what’s different is (we think) we’re funny!
That’s the brief intro. Here’s some of my favorite albums, movies and video games of all time
I started writing about Manchester City during the pandemic after getting bored at my day job. It’s been a part-time gig for years, but it’s slowly morphing into full time.
I also do player ratings for EA Sports FC, and as much as I’d love to, I can’t make Foden 99 overall or Kyle Walker a 2.
I’m originally from Connecticut but moved to DC after college and then moved to LA in 2021.
Manchester City will always come first, but I also love to talk about film, music and video games too. You can expect some content about that on here too.
I’ve taken a month off for some personal stuff but happy to report that I’m back to writing and making videos for @cityxtra.bsky.social
I’ve gained a ton of followers here, and here’s a small thread for those to get to know me who just hit follow from the Starter Pack
Hope you enjoy 🫡
The opening 10 minutes was legitimately some of the best football I’ve seen them play this season
I actually didn't think the first half was bad at all. City created more than Spurs. Spurs took their chances and City didn't
This is confirmation that (baring being found guilty for 115) there is going to be some serious shake up of the squad this summer.

📺The newsletter is live.
A "slightly" different approach this week.
With news that City are producing fictional TV shows, we sent a script their way.
Coming to City+ soon? #no

I wrote this last year for @cityxtra.bsky.social, about Pep and City’s tendency to come back in the second half of seasons. I think that’s particularly relevant right now.

It’s rumored the forward is willing to accept wages as low as £2k a week in order to secure a move
🚨EXCLUSIVE🚨
Manchester City have sent scouts to Los Angeles to view American forward Dillon Meehan, as a potential backup for Erling Haaland.
The 6’ 2” striker fits the mold of an experienced player who is content with limited minutes.
Don’t think there’s a more fitting tribute than both a statue and stand named after the man who completely transformed the club.
Don’t get serious on these apps too often, but it’s very cool to see my name up with here with some of the really heavy hitters in the City content space.
Appreciate whoever it was that threw me into this list 🫡
Would love to!
I can admit that I was wrong and want it on record that I no longer hold that opinion lol
Xabi Alonso is far and away my favorite potential replacement for Pep. Anyone is a step down, but this would hurt the least.
Plus imagine the fallout from Liverpool fans
Not saying City are definitely winning the title, but this is a slump we have seen time and time again.
Yes it’s more severe because of Rodri, but Pep can barely field a complete XI right now
