OMGGG ok so. i have to explain a bit on what exactly bsky accounts are first
functionally your experience is a sandwich:
a PDS (these are Your Posts + Profile)
a relay (gathers multiple people's Posts)
an appview (interprets and orders The Posts)
a client (the website u interact with)

my talk about @inlay.at is up!
it’s a messy whirlwind tour of the rabbithole i spent the last two months in: remixable social UI components that live directly on the AT protocol
pi no longer cooking with anthropic subscriptiin, refund on its way
did you ask for a refund?
$100 in extra usage, on us Use the credit on Claude.ai, Claude Code, Claude Desktop, or third-party apps. When it runs out, you can add more extra usage to keep going past your plan limits. Expires April 17. Terms apply
i have a counter proposal. you continue to let me use pi with my subscription or you give me my money back. (pi still cooking btw)
pi still cookin’ with subscription🤞
i just upgraded to 5x plan to use with pi yesterday, this is great.
pi is working fine, for now
looks like i will be testing my pi multi-agent flow with codex sub soon.
My talk from Atmosphere wasn't available, so I used the Power of the Atmosphere to build a place you can see it: ionosphere.tv/talks/rj8Xv62
You can also leave comments/reactions if you like, and the rest of the talks are (mostly) also there. Explore!
The fact that Bluesky introduced an app version of Threads “Dear Algo” feature and its Bluesky account is now more blocked than ICE is extremely weird.
I feel the anti-AI backlash has lost the plot on this one.
Folks who are interested in popover=hint: have a play with random-stuff.jakearchibald.com/popover-hint/ and tell me anything that doesn't make sense. Or watch this:
the tip was to tell claude to instrument react production bundle with logs. that's all that was really needed
my workflow was:
- tell it to repro the bug with my real repro via plawright
- then tell it to study react source code and relevant parts (which i suggested)
- add logs to repro
- fix

I've seen a lot of chatter today about Instagram ending support for optional End-to-End Encrypted DMs.
I helped to lead on cryptography and privacy for E2EE in Messenger and Instagram for many years, until I left around 10 months ago, so it's disappointing to see it being removed from Instagram.
i saw ghostty requires a “vouch request” approval from a maintainer before you can submit a pr. seems reasonable process to reduce spam. github.com/ghostty-org/...
There have been multiple reports of the internal chaos caused by Amazon mandating its homegrown AI coding agent, Kiro (which doesn’t work), instead of Claude Code (which does).
Success with AI coding agents depends on model quality, a growth mindset, and supporting infrastructure.
even for my own pet projects, rather than debate with claude about which direction is best i’ll just fork it and build both options.
Hey come listen to me wave my arms around a lot telling you how atproto-over-media-over-QUIC is going to fix everything at INTDEV next Wednesday!
this is great, but seems glitchy. my mouse keeps selecting blank space and won’t unselect easily.
I wrote about the pattern using Two Claudes that has been working really well for me. This wasn't really possible until Opus 4.5. It's not perfect yet it will only get better.

this is great
i just cancelled mine to try keys. i was nowhere near max and i want ability to use other tools with sdk. we’ll see what costs do.
for my personal projects i find it takes longer to debate some architectural decisions than it would to fork and build both options.

Should be obvious but seems it’s not: don’t spam OSS maintainers or coworkers with AI code you’ve not reviewed yourself.
For coworkers only, sometimes fine explaining your testing and why reviewed isn’t necessary e.g. a one-time script.
i realize most of your tools are internal, but are there any public resources that helped you integrate ai into your workflow? blogs, youtube channels, courses, or public tools that are similar to what you use?
considering the amount of tokens i’m actually using, keys are likely cheaper
do you need api keys? i assume a monthly claude account won’t work with pi.
