Prometheus was one of my favourites, apart from the obvious classics.

The whole idea of exploring where we come from and tying it into the Alien universe really hooked me. If we do have a creator, we’d all like to think it comes from a good place, but the film challenges that. 🙃

It made me emotional too—I really relate to Amélie, especially how she runs around trying to fix others as a way to avoid dealing with her own issues. Have you seen Delicatessen? It’s directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet, the same director.

Do it, this film seems to hit differently for me as I really relate to Amélie, running around “fixing” lives and to scared face my own. It’s such a beautiful film. I recommend delicatessen by same director totally feel though :)
