Rusalka at #staatsoper Berlin is a cult production, insect body horror evoking Zuławski’s #Possession - including the Berlin setting. Awesome performance by Christine Karg, slithering across the stage. Jongmin Park as the Water Goblin also exceptional. Walk home through the snow capped the night.

A galactic Saturday night at @berliner-philharmoniker.de. Pairing Holst's Planets 🪐with its inspiration, Schoenberg’s 5 Orchestral Pieces, put the old warhorse in an exciting new light. Brett Dean's Komarov's Fall was like Cuaron's Gravity movie in 7 minutes.
