If they genuinely think Jenrick is the answer to their problems, those problems are a lot bigger than they think.

Rory, Rory, tell us a story. 👍

Some of my earliest TV memories were the lunchtime kids shows. Pipkins, Mumfie, Cloppa Castle, Rupert and Rainbow. Great days.

Desperate was my ex-girlfriend and I haven't seen her in ages. Honest.

It's telling that both the Mail and Express managed to find something other than the latest 'Farage vs the foreigners' story to put on the front page.

Interesting that after recent newspaper stories calling for a certain ex-PM to link up with Reform, that Farage is now referring to the post Brexit increase in immigration as a "Boriswave". Poor old Nadine Dorries won't like that....

I'm sensing that a "key architect of a disastrous decision which has made the country measurably poorer" might also be one whose name rhymes with garage....

Here’s an idea - politicians have to apply for a licence to practice politics, renewed every 5 years. If you are found to have been a key architect of a disastrous decision which has made the country measurably poorer, that’s one of the criteria through which the licence can be revoked.

Many an hour spent on the British Newspaper Archive website, so I think it might be time for another visit.

What's becoming clearer by the day is that in the midst of the "fight of our times", Starmer is not the best person to be leading the fightback.

Yeah, good of him to come out and condemn it 3 days later.

I notice he still fails to acknowledge that while it may have been led by a convicted criminal, it was clearly financed by American interests. Maybe he'll mention that next week when Trump is back home. Or maybe not.

Don't mention Boris, poor old Nigel won't like that. Reform is his party, and he won't want the spotlight taking away from him....

I see the BBC have managed to post this on a day when the Charlie Kirk and Mandelson stories are running, so it won't get as much attention as it might have done on another day...

Regular reminder that within one month of Mrs Thatcher being elected PM in 1979, Labour led the polls, being anywhere between 40 and 56% right up til October 1981 when the SDP had a run of topping the polls. The Falklands War turned the tide back to the Tories, just 14 months before the 83 election.
