faffing around w/ this is also how I finally learned that object velocity for particles is apparently only calculated when some span of time elapses between them being emitted and does *nothing* if they're all emitted on the same frame.

Finishing up last bits of destruction sim for this one.
Tidying stuff atm then need to do a bunch of dirt falling off his stompers too (for when he steps out of the crater). Then smoke for everything afterwards.
