A Venn diagram with very little overlap between two circles one of which is labeled "porn that you can [pasta noises] to" and the other is "realistic depictions of sexual/intimate interactions between fictional characters"

A third entirely separate circle below reads "media you should consume if you want to learn about healthy sexual practices or practicing kink in a safe and responsible way in real life with other real human beings"

This needs to be one of the mandatory tests people should do before they're allowed to enter the open Internet

I'm being so real right now, learn how to engage in media as art and not a reflection of your own real life morals. consume things that make you uncomfortable and understand why it makes you uncomfortable. Don't just base yours and others morals standings on the media you consume.

Amazing treasures of medieval legal history for a medieval Monday - the Catslechta ˙ (or Cat-sections) - an old Irish legal text on cats (the Senchas Már) which even sets out various categories of cats based on various characteristics or talents.

Science Stopped Believing in Porn Addiction. You Should, Too Research finds that porn-related problems are predominantly caused by religious conflict. Clinically, this means people need help, but not necessarily with the porn.

"porn addiction isn't real" finally has scientific proof in a meta study because it finds the root cause - religious upbringing. And this was conducted by people who *went in thinking the addiction was real*! www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/wome...

a collage style illustration of chiara in blue/pink/grey (young woman with long dark hair and eyes, scarred face, snake tattoo on her forehead, antivan crow tattoo sleeve on right arm)

to the left is a blue chiara in a sleeping/lying pose, eyes closed, text floating in her hair ("but you don't resent her?" / do you resent him?). top left is a glimpse of her face, worried eye, blood staining her head and hair.
in the middle chiara is sitting perched on a low wall, leaning on her leg, expression haunted. behind her to the right is chiara in a dynamic pose, in crow armor, focused, about to strike with a lightning orb. text next to her head ("he's happy you're home." / "i doubt that.")
bottom left there's antivan dagger designs, bottom right there's 5 crow feathers and text (not a home / not a home / not a home / a house)

a drawing of a lil guy with a dismembered shrivelled arm in his hands. a ghostly figure is around the corner. there is a fairy tale border around the image.

I wanted to remind people of the existence of Fantasy Icon Catherine Jeffery Jones (1944-2011). She was a huge inspiration to me in high school and is well known amongst the fantasy illustration community but i’m curious if she’s know well by young trans artists today. She’s one of the greats
