I definitely get the “not feeling it” vibe. I’ve had it myself with this movie - but the more I’ve seen, the more it looks like super fun classic-Star Wars escapist adventure.

Just what a lot of these impossible fans claim they wanted!

While it’s possible this backlash spilled into the release of the sequels, I’ve never seen anything like what you’re describing around TLJ.

The first two episodes of #Maul were a bit - monotone for me. It’s not what I come to #StarWars for. But the latest episodes really built on the foundations of what came before making it feel much more layered than I expected. Devon, in particular, really came into her own in these episodes.

The sound design of Maul and his lightsaber continue to impress - In Episode 3 of #MaulShadowLord you can hear part of the Duel of the Fates Sanskrit chorus "Rahtahmah" whispered quietly.
