Pride Rising mug! Love how clean it came out, and finally found an underglaze purple that works! Up on Gnomespun. And of course funds from pottery are currently going to keep immigrants afraid of ICE housed. π§Ά

Comic. [Person and person with white hat facing two boxes stacked with $80 price tag and sale tag on each box.] PERSON 1: They want $80 for this? I could make one myself for $10 in parts, an hour of work, a trip to the hardware store, another $30 in parts, another few hours of work, two more trips to the store for $20 more in parts, another hour of work to redo the first hour of work because I messed up, and $80 to buy this when the one I made breaks.

A bright-eyed BUOW, or Burrowing Owl if you're not into the whole brevity thing, is wrapped in a baby blue fabric, held in the thick-gloved hand of a rehabilitator. The owl's eyes are lemon yellow, and his/her plumage is white across the eyebrows and chin, and tan to dark brown everywhere else, featuring light speckles across the forehead. The wrap forms a high upturned collar like Dracula. Dracowla? Draculowl? We'll keep working on that.
This Burrowing Owl had 3 surgeries following severe barbed-wire injuries. Thankfully Ojai Raptor Center gave a bright prognosis saying "he/she is looking good for recovery and release!"

This is @glutelord.bsky.social and he's completely fucking correct. The fundamental tension at the heart of all incel culture is that these guys HATE women and refuse to appeal to them but desperately want to get laid anyway, and this contradiction can only really be resolved through violence
in america, polyamorists are whispered about as unnervingly well-prepared for board games. This is just one of the many stereotypes facing our community. I hear in Poland they see polyamorists as smug bastards with houses full of working lightbulbs
accidentally ordered the Big American Joke Drink (xxl cappuccino) at a busy cafe this morning and the entire place erupted in laughter and cheers as the guy brought it over, placed it in front of me, and handed me a foot-long spoon to stir it with.. italy rocks
