This image shows a scenic view of Lake Minnewanka, located in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada.
It is a glacial lake known for its crystal-clear water and stunning mountain reflections.
The lake is approximately 21 kilometers long and is a popular destination for boating, hiking, and scuba diving to explore submerged historical sites.

Standing on the edge of a viewing point looking down on a turquoise colored glacial lake as the first rays of the sun hit the rocky mountain peaks that border the lake. The sky is blue with a few white clouds.

For all those still feeling the moon joy—Artemis II was brought to you by public schools and publicly funded science. Copy that! 👩‍🚀🚀💕

If you meet one of those nitwits claiming we couldn’t have gone to the Moon in 1969, because we are having to redevelop the technology to do it now, just show them this. 🔭🧪

art002e009289 (April 6, 2026) – The lunar surface fills the frame in sharp detail, as seen during the Artemis II lunar flyby, while a distant Earth sets in the background. This image was captured at 6:41 p.m. EDT, on April 6, 2026, just three minutes before the Orion spacecraft and its crew went behind the Moon and lost contact with Earth for 40 minutes before emerging on the other side. In this image, the dark portion of Earth is experiencing nighttime, while on its day side, swirling clouds are visible over the Australia and Oceania region. In the foreground, Ohm crater shows terraced edges and a relatively flat floor marked by central peaks — formed when the surface rebounded upward during the impact that created the crater.

art002e009285 (April 6, 2026) – Our planet draws closer to passing behind the Moon in this image captured by the Artemis II crew during their lunar flyby, about six minutes before Earthset. Earth is in a crescent phase, with sunlight coming from the right. The dark portion of Earth is experiencing nighttime. On Earth’s day side, swirling clouds are visible over muted blue in the Australia and Oceania region. The lines of small indentations on the Moon’s rugged surface are secondary crater chains. These structures are formed by material ejected during a violent primary impact.

Galactic Aurora

Well, last night there was an intense but brief aurora, and I totally missed it.
But it got me digging through the archives remembering other nights. Here's one from long ago.

A solitary dark mesa in the southeast corner of the Grand Canyon as seen from the rim of the canyon. The steep slopes of the mesa are covered with juniper and pine trees. The vast canyon can be seen beyond the mesa and the sky is clear and bright blue.

On a walk around #Conwy yesterday, I spotted something I hadn't noticed before. This magnificent #Gothic railway arch, built in 1840, through the #Medieval walls. It even continues the castellated parapet! Zoom in, and you can see where bits were chipped away as trains got bigger! #photograph #photo

Just thinking about what we could do with a billion dollars a day that doesn’t include bombing people.

Depends how it is all set up.

VPN is a private network, but if it pops out the other end on the internet… in any case, app level info can be tracked.

Proxies can help further reroute and hide private details.

Different tools for different jobs.

I run a VPN from home. Know what it’s for.

Heads are going to explode 💥

Cato Institute just nuked the lie. Immigrants have cut U.S. deficits by $14.5 TRILLION since 1994, slashing the national debt by a third.

All that “immigrants are bleeding us dry” noise? Absolute bullshit.

Not really, hardly the same as harassing, abducting or shooting innocent folks is it

Or trying to be a dictator, ETC
Not even close

We don’t have to hate them just because they are successful

At least they are saying something, they are influential, let them speak!

Worst would be staying silent.
