A Facebook page from the Qayqayt First Nation with a photo of Rhonda Larrabee with cedar hat and a fan of white eagle feathers, announcing that Rhonda had passed away yesterday surrounded my her loving family.
Heartbreaking news today from the Qayqayt First Nation. Condolences to her family from all of #NewWest. Rhonda was a strong leader and a fierce advocate who touched 1000s of lives, but her family was her greatest joy, and I hope they can take comfort in memories of that love at this difficult time.

Hey #NewWest. I love this City for the same reasons you do: we take action & act with compassion, work together to lift one another. I'm proud of the region-leading work we've done on Housing, road safety, infrastructure, inclusion, & more. We we have more work to do. Let's keep moving forward.
