Research framing shapes findings before a single data point is collected. When the question is wrong, the answer is useless no matter how rigorous the methodology.
What makes this particularly hard to fix is that when women do present with cardiac symptoms, they're more likely to be told it's anxiety or stress. The research gap and the bias gap reinforce each other.
The anger makes complete sense. When loss happens inside a system that has documented, longstanding failures, grief doesn't get to just be grief. It carries the weight of knowing it didn't have to be this way.
