The soulless, sociopathic orange cunt stands in his suit looking bored and devoid of intelligent thought whilst an Oval Office guest is collapsed on the ground behind him. Fellow guests, able to demonstrate more compassion than the pedo protector has ever mustered in his entire miserable existence, are helping the collapsed man. The photo captures the insipid, disdain Trump holds for any other human being not permanently kissing his fat, wrinkly ass. At least today is one day closer to his death.
Congratulations to photographer Andrew Harnik who has won the White House Correspondents’ Association award for presidential news coverage with one of the greatest Oval Office photos ever captured.

Delicate watercolours of plants conceal shadowy forms: a uterus, pelvis, lungs, revealing a deeper story of women’s bodily autonomy, while 32 plants echo the island’s 32 counties.

Last summer, we celebrated love in all its forms with the opening of Grá, an exhibition exploring identity, connection, community and diversity. Now, you can fall in love with Grá all over again with this reflective short film made by Toma McCullim and editor Julie Ballands.

For the week that’s in it, some of my favourite lunar artworks in the collection @crawfordartgallery.bsky.social, from an 18th-century Spanish earthenware plate to James Arthur O’Connor’s Moonlight Scene and Paysage Lunaire (1955) by Stanley William Hayter 🌝🌚
A medieval stone tower on a ridge next to an inlet of the Atlantic with low mist shrouding the land behind. Two sheep graze at the foot of the tower, while a lifeboat is at anchor in the water
Kildavnet Castle • Achill Island
This tower house is thought to date to the fifteenth century, and it was built by the O’Malleys to guard Achill Sound.
The site is associated with Gráinne Ní Mháille, the famous 'Pirate Queen', whose stories are so imbued within the landscape of Achill and Clew Bay

One of Hokusai's prints for 'Hayaku Monogatari' (100 Ghost Stories), created in 1831-2. It shows the ghost of an actor, Kohada Koheiji, about to take revenge on his wife and her lover, who murdered him.

A painting of an ancient monastery, in ruins, as the sun sets behind it. There are sheep grazing amind the ruins, which are on an island in the middlge of a lough.
Today's #OnlineArtExchange theme is ‘ancient art’ for Gladiators of Britain & Uncovering Roman Carlisle at @tulliecarlisle.bsky.social!
Inniscaltra, also called Holy Island, is an island in Lough Derg. The monastery was founded by St Caimin in the 600s, but was burned by Vikings in 836 and 922 AD.
All that I could forgive. But, Debbie... pastels?

If the planet survives this current chaos, I look forward to the day that a movie celebrates the extraordinary achievement of Artemis II set against the utterly debased backdrop of the Trump administration. Truly the best and worst of humanity.

A Japanese colour woodblock print with a monkey sitting on a willow branch. It is muted in colour, mostly greys.
A melancholy monkey is skillfully captured in this wonderful colour woodblock print by Japanese artist Ohara Koson.
Born in Kanazawa in 1877, Koson was a master of kachō-ga (bird and flower pictures) but also created numerous works of other animals during a prolific career.
