Yes! I know at the very least I’ll need to give the tree a “full” looking appearance. I’m thinking clusters and then filling in a lot of the spaces with individual leaves as well. ..we’ll see, I’ll keep sharing my progress as I go. Thank you!! 💖

Oh, that’s a good point!! I’ll be imitating the apple tree from the book “The Giving Tree”, so it’s a real tree, but also.. I can definitely take an artistic approach where needed, since the tree is fictional lol

I think the 4 leaf cluster looks better/more natural than the 6 leaf cluster, but what do you think? 🧐🍃

I considered making the big cloud fluffy, but honestly I’m loving how smooth my single strand long and short stitches are turning out! 💖☁️

Also, don’t be fooled… this little section took a ridiculously long time to embroider. 😅

Sorry for the double comment, I just realized I should probably clarify more haha. I’m hoping these “leaf clusters” will be a bit faster than doing individual leaves for the whole canopy.

I’m experimenting with different types of clusters so when when I cut them out I can see which works best!

Oh yes!! I’m actually attempting to make a full tree canopy.. it’s very ambitious, even for me! 😅💖
