My favorite tax reform would put me out of business, which is collapse the income tax, uncap FICA and double it and apply it to all forms of distribution to ownership. We already have the jurisprudence on FICA and enforcement mechanisms in place, its just a matter of scaling and hiring

iirc the model's inflation level is set from the last five years. So as the big increase fell out of the window, sentiment would improve. The big increase would become too old to impact the present, expectations would reset.
