WEโVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!
Cory Booker is throwing downโfilibustering & standing up to Trumpโs authoritarian overreach.
This is what we needโDems who disrupt, resist, and fight back. Bookerโs stand is a rallying cry for all of us to demand better.

Last night I stood up for those who need Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security. Democrats will never abandon the fight to make sure every American has a safe, healthy, and financially secure life. #ISaidWhatISaid
Green: I will suffer whatever the consequences are because I don't believe in the richest country in the world people should be without good health care. I stood up for my constituents then. I'm standing up for them now. I would do it again.
Iโm not watching nonsense.
It is such a confused, brutal, racist purge at MSNBC it's like they're being run by Elon Musk
Jasmine Crockett is shredding this solo. But itโs past time for the rhythm section to enter this song already.
a black pittie with a greying snoot sits on a street. he's wearing a blond, curly, shake and go wig. he looks off past the camera with an expression that indicates he has complete confidence in his disguise.
Bear the pittie is facing away from the camera, his entire head consumed by the blond wig. he stands next to two happy goldens who don't even notice anything strange.
Bear stands in the middle of a street next to a majestic golden retriever draped in a regency era cape. the golden is none the wiser to Bear's ruse, nor do any of the five people standing around on the street.
This is Bear. He disguised himself and snuck into a golden retriever gathering. Safe to say no one suspected a thing. 13/10
Happy #Lawyercat Anniversary for all who celebrate! It's been four years since the kitten appeared in my Zoom courtroom, and I released the 48 second video that made the whole world laugh. Here is the full video showing the big reveal at the end (in two parts because Blue sky). Enjoy!

Happy Black History Month!
Well before this tragedy, Senator Kaine raised alarms about DCAโs overcrowded airspace putting lives at risk, but he faced opposition from colleagues on both sides of the aisle, many with ties to special interests. Thank you Senator for putting public safety first.
Well, we knew they would blame the plane crash on DEI, and Trump's sycophants will just nod their heads even though it is a nonsensical claim. I don't know how Republicans live with themselves. I really don't. And frankly, most of those Democrats, too, as they put up no resistance.
Yes, this administration is dangerous and cruel, but they are also shockingly dim and incompetent.
Opportunities are everywhere.
Make everything as hard as possible. Resist every demand. Refuse entry without a warrant. Donโt take the buyout. Their problem solving skills are ๐
The Inspectors General refuse to leave until the action is taken legally, which they do not believe it was, and neither do senators like Chuck Grassley. This is what not backing down looks like.

The same board micromanaging library shelves while teachers leave in droves thinks their hot take on immigration is what the county needs right now? This isn't governance, it's embarrassing political theater.
Imagine walking into a school board meeting concerned about overcrowded classrooms and underpaid teachers, only to watch them discuss federal immigration policy. Peak Tennessee politics.
Watched another school board meeting where fear drowned out facts and personal bias overrode librarian expertise. None of the board members have read the books. Or asked why the books matter. Or listened to the teens who need the books. The frustration is suffocating.
Itโs interesting seeing people focus on the fact that heโs an addict and not on the fact that he was physically abusive
One of those things is a moral offense, and itโs not addiction

Readers deserve access to a variety of viewpoints &ideas so they can have the freedom to choose what to read. Book bans threaten that variety. #UniteAgainstBookBans at: uniteagainstbookbans.org
Every democracy that has fallen started with controlling information. Book bans are step one: limit access to diverse perspectives, critical thinking, and uncomfortable truths. #FightBookBans
A group of men sit in front of a chart that incorrectly spells "military" as "miltary."
GOP members complaining about reduction of military standards while using a chart that misspells the word military!
When librarians invest their time and expertise to review challenged books, their professional judgment deserves respect. Proud to be part of the Rutherford County Library Alliance and proud to stand with our school librarians whose expertise keeps getting ignored. #ListenToLibrarians #FightBookBans
