Iām glad to see that Richard Desmondās claim against the Gambling Commission has been rejected by the High Court, and his claims discredited.
Desmondās attempt at Ā£1.3 billion of taxpayer money is shameful.

Closer alignment where it helps British firms trade more easily isnāt betrayal.
Itās basic economics.
We can either keep arguing about 2016.
Or we can get on with growing the economy.
āBrexit betrayal.ā
Every time.
No matter the issue. No matter the reality.
Just the same tired line.
Businesses arenāt asking for slogans. Theyāre asking for trade that works. Less friction. Lower costs.
Certainty.
Making this my new ring tone.

This is what leadership looks like.
Making difficult calls. Holding a line.
Working to de-escalate in a situation thatās anything but simple.
Reform will no doubt have a short slogan and sound bite
But this is the real world ā and it demands a lot more than that.
A fragile ceasefire in the Middle East.
We still face pressure on energy prices here at home.
Oil moves. Gas follows. Bills go up. But prices at the pump won't come down.
The Conservatives left Britain more exposed to shocks like this.
And itās households who pay the price.
Pub garden. Sunshine. Cider. People next to me planning an impromptu BBQ...
Best of British!
New employment rights mean nothing if theyāre not enforced.
Thatās why the Labour has launched the Fair Work Agency today - to safeguard our hard-won rights at work. š¦ŗ
Reform are very good at telling people somethingās broken.
Theyāre much less interested in how you actually fix it.
Running the country isnāt about shouting the loudest. Itās about delivering real solutions to complex problems.
Britain doesnāt need more slogans.
It needs serious leadership.
Too right it does.

What does that look like to you? Share your ideas below.
I don't yet have a view on a system, but we need a review!!
Luke is right here. Our current political system disenfranchises voters.
A first step to fixing this would be for the Government to bring forward a National Commission on Electoral Reform to give clear recommendations on how we fix our broken system.

I was very fortunate to join @ntfc.bsky.social this weekend for the NTFC Community Trust weekend. As well as meeting some brilliant volunteers and organisations that work with the trust, I got to plant a tree as part of the club's new greening project and spend some time with trustees.
In the same week as Reform criticised me for *checks notes* promoting physical activity through dance.
If you're trying to be bombastic and discombobulate your opponents, you really need to have something substantial with which to do so.
This's excellent from the PM
I am not prepared to commit our military service people to action, unless I am sure that what they are doing is lawful & has a viable basis. They deserve to know that their PM cares &pays attention to whether what I am asking them to do is lawful & I will always do that.
š The House of Commons just debated the Representation of the People Bill
