I love and respect artists. I just think more artists need to view their work as a business.
It's very unprofessional for an artist to shit talk their clients openly and name drop them. They can vent. But to negatively impact their clients who spent hundreds or more is messed up over petty drama.
Great news, it isn't cancer! The lump turned out to be abnormal muscle tissue! We're not sure why it formed, but we're figuring it out.
Unfortunately, I had to put a lot of my medical expenses on my credit card, and money is very very tight. I'll be keeping the Ko-Fi up if anyone could help! quq

I have another appointment for an ultrasound in a week to finally get the mass imaged and I can check in early online. But wouldn't you guess it : ) they're insisting I pay the $200 deposit for the upcoming visit right away, and there is no option to use the $60 credited in my account.
$300 deposit just to have my doctor do an exam for ten minutes is evil. I don't even know if the appt. cost that much, or if I was once again overcharged. Billing is closed. I'll be calling Monday to get the itemized bill and complain about the money they're taking but refusing to let me use.
When I asked her about using the $60 just sitting in my account for that appointment, she wouldn't even acknowledge the question and just kept telling me to call billing.
And when I got to the appointment, the woman at the desk told me it was another $250 deposit for the visit, then out of nowhere told me it was actually $300, and not even she knew why I was being charged an extra $50, but I had to pay it upfront and if I had any complaints, to call billing.
AND WHEN I GOT THE BILL THEY ADMITTED THEY OVERCHARGED ME THE $60, BUT REFUSED TO GIVE IT BACK!! They told me it'd be credited towards my next appointment with them. But!! I get to my next appointment, and they wouldn't let me use the $60 to help cover the $300 deposit!!!

Tell me why I went to urgent care uninsured, had to put down a $250 deposit, had them explain to me every expense throughout the visit, then when I go to leave they tack on $60 that they can't explain, but won't let me leave without paying.

Once again reminding folks to be careful about what blocking lists you subscribe to. While there are some well-run ones, I have also noticed an increase in this function being used maliciously to mislabel accounts in an attempt to limit their reach. Recommend vetting lists carefully before using.
I recently found a hard mass on my body and went to urgent care to get it examined. The doctor was concerned it might be cancer. I can't afford to get it imaged/biopsied right now, and really need some help.
