Young adult woman with seaweed shaped hair drifting in a body of water as spooky green hands grip at her from beneath the water
Artwork I painted for the novel "Sister of the Lake" by Olga Ptitseva + sketches
"The Duel". The image shows a scene with bright towers, Jinn that looks like a skeleton, the Queen and the angel from my previous illustration "Angel's Whisper" and chessboard floor with chess piece on it. The story is about the Jinn who can duplicate themselves to play mind games with the Queen. There are mirrors in the middle ground showing intrusive thoughts to hurt the Queen. One image shows the angel stabbing the Queen, second one shows the Jinn kissing the angel, another image shows the angel become a skeleton and the last image shows the Jinn try on Queen's crown. The Queen and the Jinn in their material form are facing each other. The Queen is holding a sword and the Jinn is riding a bright red horse. The floor looks like chessboard with red and blue chess pieces. The artwork has a frame stylized in a similar way as the towers in the background. The artwork is mostly dark with green, blue and red accents.
"Nurture" The image shows a room with a woman sitting in the center holding a sleeping fawn. The woman has ginger hair and wears a red and pink dress and has big decorated head piece around her head. There are arched windows behind her and two cages. One cage is empty and another one has red snakes and a pale pink heart inside. The heart is floating above the snakes. There are three skeletons in the image. Two are on both sides of the woman and one is sitting on the ground reaching towards a deer. The floor is covered with roses and there are two deer on the floor. There are long blue columns on both sides of the image with pink snakes curling around the columns. There are two large skeletons on both sides of the image. They have the same hair as the woman and have snakes curling through their ribs. Red hearts float above them. The artwork is mostly blue and pink with some red accents.
The image shows a bedroom with a large bed in the center. A woman is held by a skeleton. She is unconscious. She wears a blue dress and has bright ginger hair. There are cobras at the bottom of her dress. There's a big painting on the wall behind the bed with a unicorn fighting a cobra in a forest. There are three nuns seated on the right side and a big dog laying on the bed. There's a door with a boy in a long dress holding a vase with tulips. He has bright ginger hair. There's a skeleton nun behind him. There's a bear cub walking from the left side of the image. These may or may not be hallucinations the woman experiences wile feeling unwell.
Slightly more somber

With Hat Atelier is, no exaggeration, one of the most mesmerizing comics out there. Kamome Shirahama isn't "good at drawing" - she has great technical skill, yes, but she controls the flow like no one else, comes up with imagery that projects a world, and roots all of it in the themes of her series
NASA just dropped this image of Artemis II astronaut Christina Koch looking back at us. The first woman to ever see our planet in its entirety. I’m not crying you’re crying 🥹🔭🧪 📸: NASA

💖 I'm a trans author with a science fantasy novel coming out later this year.
A ruthless transmasc fortune weaver and an ambitious cave priestess are drawn into dubious bargains, in this unsettling and twisting dark science fantasy novel.

illustration inspired by Charlotte Perkins-Gilman's 1891 short story "The Yellow Wallpaper" depicting a woman touching sickly yellow torn wallpaper on a wall while shadowy hands reach toward her. There is another tall shadow of a figure on the wall and both figures look toward the viewer.
"The color is repellent, almost revolting; a smouldering unclean yellow, strangely faded by the slow-turning sunlight."
I made a "Yellow Wallpaper" piece back in 2017, but I re-read the story over the weekend and wanted to try again. Much happier with this version 🖤
This is such a gorgeous tattoo!! 😍

Instead of watching the terrible HP series, we suggest watching a new show coming out April 6th called Witch Hat Altelier!

INTO THE UNBEING LIBRARY EDITION arrives this September.
All 8 issues in a beautiful, oversized hardcover. This is the best way to read the series & ultimately the way it was meant to be read.

Oh my God. This series is incredible and one of my favorite ongoing comics. I really hope the animation does it justice.

Dark painting in classical style, depicting a woman in a white dress with her back facing the viewer, wrapped in red fabric. The face of a man peaking through the darkness, near the woman's bleeding neck.
Book mockup of the first illustration.
The Dracula cover I worked on is finally revealed.
I am very stoked about this project, because doing a cover art for a classical book is a dream I didn't know I had, and also because they agreed to have the cover art minimalistic and elegant, and I AM SO HAPPY ABOUT IT.
