With my dino-bike done, that's 5 serberys minis I've converted now, each in a very different style

Great pose for it, are you gonna have it spearing something? And did you have to adjust/trim any of the joints for it or can the destrier do that out the box?
New knight Destrier from Warhammer. Posed with a lance thrusting up. Unpainted without all the armor. Messy desk behind.
New Knight!!!! #40k #miniaturepainting
it wouldn't be a mechanicus-related mini without a mess of wires
building out the axe staff section so it's not just plain plastic rod, using some admech bits for details, plus an extra layer of thicker plastic pipe in a few places, and a grip section wrapped with 1mm masking tape, all pinned around a brass rod for strength
a few more additions and now it's looking nice and bulky
shoulder pads
combi-bolter servo gun with servo skull optics
swapped bolt pistol for macro stubber
kataphron optics on the power pack
manipulus mechadendrite
extra tool on the servo arm taken from an arc pistol
While I'm getting ready to build the new Knight Destrier, here's a few different styles of conversions I've done with some imperial knights previously
At a guess, give it a coating of glue maybe? Something like pva or maybe some uv resin, something that doesn't leave too rough a finish. But slight flexibility is not something I'd worry too much about, I've painted a lot of thin green stuff that was still flexible, without issue

Serberys Dino-Bike
Nice, I like the different staff topper, and yeah single kit conversions/kitbashes always feel super satisfying
trying to make the normal marine body more tech-y, scribed lines and added wire studs to the shin armour (didn't turn out great), made a kind of plated tabard from plasticard, and used plastic rod & ball burrs to add ports to the chest
A few shots of some of my favourite black templars I got while recording for the video on my new castellan
finished this off with a flag decal, and some simple highlighting, now it's ready to join the rest of my random serberys builds
Share a preacher, nun, or priest
a (dreadnought) chaplain is basically a preacher/priest, right?
for a variant on the classic omnissiah axe, I want to try something more halberd like, with a smaller axe and longer top blade, and another thing to make it more like a knightly templar, is a trailing banner I'm trying out using some brass sheet for
