I feel like I have another level of appreciation playing video games lately. I think part of it is that so many series/consoles have big anniversaries this year that I'm playing so many different types of games new and old, along with staying away from the negativity of some

Now that I've taken a little break and played some shorter games, I'm ready for another long JRPG. These are the four I've chosen for one to be my next playthrough. Now I've put about 10 hours into Hundred Line before, but the others I haven't played too much yet
How well can I guess video games from just one frame? Let's find out in my latest video!

I occasionally think about my time going to community college. I dropped out of high school, so went back for upgrading in 2016 (I was 25 at the time). My favourite part was seeing the massive age group range in class. Some were young, while a few were 60+. Just loved seeing that
Just finished Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom! This was a silly, fun platformer collectathon. Definitely had that N64/PS1 vibe as mostly fun to play, but of course, its got to have those awkward camera angles at times if it wants to pay homage to those types of games lol
It sucks when you put out a video that you're excited to share your thoughts and experiences on, and not only does it flop hard, but makes people unsubscribe too. I hope it picks up, and other videos too, cause now every video I've been uploading, the subs keep decreasing
A while back, I played and finished Tales of Phantasia for the first time. Here are my overall thoughts on it

After having the cops and fire department break into my neighbors apartment right across from me, it wasn't a good night yesterday, so I'm treating myself with pizza from Inglewood Pizza
I dyed my hair red, so I'm in the Asbel Lhant outfit. Okay, so the colours aren't exactly right, but it'll do for now. Also, I definitely don't have enough hair right now to style it like Asbel haha
I hate it when streaming and someone comes in, follows you, you're having a fun conversation, but then it turns into "I'm an artist so pay me to create stuff for your channel" and when you say you're good, they leave and unfollow you. That is not how you should go about marketing
When it came to Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties, I wasn't sure how I would feel about it since I know they cut lots from the original game. But after playing a few hours of it, I'm having a good time. Yes, I would like everything to still be here, but the new stuff they added is fun
Just finished Pokémon Legends: Z-A on stream! Lots of fun, the most fun I've had with a modern Pokémon game (though Pokopia may take its place). I do still need to do the epilogue and maybe DLC if I buy it, but the base game is done!
Now that I finished some of my long RPGs that I was trying to get through, I have now finished Tiger Chainsaw's game Maiden of the Dark. For a studio's first title, this was a short, but tough action platformer. Very solid game
Happy Easter everyone!
I hate sinus headaches. Today is the Calgary Video Game Nerd Sale, but I definitely cannot go as it just be too much
The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak II is done! Glad to be finished this one as I love the series, but this is the only one I really didn't enjoy. Just dragged so much without adding much to the overall story
Want to take pictures of cats in a video game? Well here you go. A preview of an upcoming cozy game, Cat Me If You Can, allows you to do just that

Finally on the last chapter of Trails through Daybreak II!!
There's other, shorter games I want to play, but I'm determined to finally get through Trails through Daybreak II
Even though I sometimes don't get the best results doing them, I love putting in so much time and effort into my collection videos. The memories of talking about my favourites, while also discovering ones that I haven't played yet is so much fun
Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising is finished! This is actually one I started months ago, but now finished story mode. Great 2D fighter with fun RPGish story mode, but just like all fighting games now these days, it annoys me how many fighters are locked behind DLC
Man, it's been years since I last played FF XIV and so I am starting over since I don't really remember anything about it. I may stream this one day and if anyone would like to join me, let me know
There are so many amazing series celebrating big anniversaries this year that I've been replaying lots of old titles recently. Playing the first Zelda for the first time in years and it's still so much fun!
And Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X is finished! I'm glad I finally played the first Tales game (though this is the PSP version). This was so fun to play through! Some minor annoyances, but not too bad. Excited for my next JRPG adventure!
Man I want to record and stream, but haven't felt the greatest for a bit (probably due to the weather going up and down) along with there's been so much construction happening in my area that it's tough to find a moment of quiet
I don't care if someone hates localization or English dubs. We have many different options now for people to consume these pieces of media and it's great to have so many different interests. But why can't we just allow those to enjoy media the way they want to?
Maiden of the Dark has made its way north of the border! Come check out my short unboxing from Tiger Chainsaw

For #Mar10Day I decided to do a short on the very first video game I played in my Why I Bought series

Man, Gen 6 consoles had the BEST licensed games of any generation, just between the 007 and LotR games, and The Simpsons: Hit & Run. One of the most underrated is Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas: Oogie's Revenge. Loved this one!
My YouTube videos almost always perform like this. The first 2 days are really bad, and then by day 3, much more engagement
