I can’t speak to IMVU but Second Life is heavily dependent on the builder/owner of the land. There are lots of beautiful places and avs in it - and some older dated looking ones, but those are easily avoided if you want to.

The second life viewer is open source.

Second life creators… please stop baking shine into your textures! Especially now that PBR means ALM is effectively “on” all the time. Baked shine just looks so bad when it’s on a moving avatar.

I would be interested to hear from an economist. Additionally, how is this not just “wildcat banking” with crypto companies competing to issue their own (mostly worthless) currency?

Additionally, the backing of the government (and FDIC insurance) is a big safety factor with say, USD.

Also vendors should list the pieces of clothing/etc used in their ads.

Such a shame… just improving crossings would make caravans so much better.
