I've also built a little store front in order to sell on a lot of the items I've found. I don't want them to gather dust, wrapped up in storage, but have new lives in new homes. New stuff listed daily.

Have the Government designed student loans to uphold a generational and class divide? YouTube video by The News Agents

Successive UK governments have created a student loan system which *actively* embeds unfairness and inequality between and within generations.

Finally, (some) politicians are waking up to it. It needs complete and urgent reform. Special News Agents report.

Something magnificent about Kemi Badenoch's self-confidence, and her claim that the Mandelson affair is entirely down to her asking questions at PMQs. Like a toddler who thinks their plastic steering wheel is controlling the car.

As its Westminster (London), it falls to the Met to investigate initially. They can then refer to the NCA (National Crime Agency, closest equivalent to FBI) and/or Serious Fraud Office. Current Government are rolling out an FBI type force called the NPS. A bit over complicated & often depends...1/2

Ishould begin with an apology. Last month, I described Robert Jenrick as “the most shameless man in parliament”. His office complained at the time, but I was stubborn and refused to back down. Well, it’s never too late to say you were wrong. Robert Jenrick is not simply the most shameless man in parliament. He is the most shameless man in Britain, the most shameless man on Earth. Quite possibly the most shameless man in history. It is not simply that Jenrick has no shame. He is like a black hole for shame, sucking in the embarrassment of people around him. Which will be quite handy in his new party, Reform.

Nothing became Jenrick’s time in the Conservative Party so much as the leaving of it. For years he had eased his way up the greasy pole, switching positions when necessary, a heating-seeking missile for whichever pose could help him advance, poster boy for the importance of self-belief over ability or integrity. And finally he was undone because he forgot to pick something up off a

Exactly this. Once a long standing Labour voter, I've been turned off by this reform fawning rhetoric over the last few yrs. Many friends feel the same. They're losing way more than they gain. It's not just under 30s moving to Polanski's Greens.

Did I ever tell you the story about running him over in a car back in June '94, almost ending in a short career which would've made Pulp fiction his last film.

I shall revisit them all today, thanks for the inspo! I do love Extricate, it holds a lot of good memories for me of that time period. Shift-work also. I moved to live in Edinburgh in '93, they were my soundtrack. 🎧

It is horrifying. 😢 I read about it a couple of weeks ago, excellent journalism. That lawyer guy is evil. There are pockets of mid 60s estates around the Midlands where this could happen too. People are unaware their freeholds are at risk.
