That’s why Crusader 51 walking away and leaving the ants to their own devices feels like a mirror: a creator stepping back maybe even “going to sleep” after being rejected by its creation.

The ants turn on him, no longer seeing him as worthy of their “praise,” for conversation’s sake.

Keeping that in mind, what if that’s how the Antinium came about?
