In other words, I don't really care about your social class, your ability, your race, your gender, your sexuality, your education, your age, etc. when I am determining whether or not you are a good person. Those qualities are important, but they don't dictate whether you are deserving respect alone.

Every human has some inherent value. I really do believe that. However, your actions can change this. If you choose to hurt people, over and over again, and make the world a worse place for those around you, you lower your own value. You can change this, of course, but don't expect love for now.

For some reason, there are people out there that still ascribe this contradictory idea of "I tolerate everything except for intolerance" to me when this is just not my worldview. It's so much simpler than that, if you take the time to listen.

My gay agenda is NOT "love and respect everyone always". My gay agenda is "respect everyone on the baseline of humanity, but do not give more than is owed".
