Thanks for your post! Wondering I’m in Australia, due for a booster in December, the LP.8.1 is registered but not yet available, is it worth waiting for it or should one still just get the available JN.1? Thanks in advance.

I think Butlers office was getting some added pressure last year, so released it just before Xmas. I plan to call my local mp and his office (email as well) as this seems to get them moving. Especially before Xmas! Ps I was the one posting the links on facebook, next time I won’t be anonymous. 😊

Very obvious now that SARS-CoV-2 infection can be characterised as: AAA

A: Acceleration (e.g. dementia, vascular)
A: reActivation (e.g. EBV, LTBI)
A: Aging (inflammation, telomere shortening)

Longevity and / or healthspan cannot be fully addressed without understanding this.

‘A bomb thrown into the middle of science’: Trump cuts hurt Australian medical research Local research institutes are suspending projects and laying off staff as US funds dry up.

Our society utterly relies on science, way more than most realise. It’s a global endeavor like no other. What’s happening now is profoundly negative, not just to funding, but to institutions, workforce & culture. Other countries must step up to try and fill the void.

“He became detached.”

I suffer with long covid and stopped talking about it because the look I could see glazing over people’s faces.

I still have a distorted sense of smell. If you’ve noticed me lose weight over 5 years, I’m not trying. I don’t like it. My brain feels like a faraday cage.

Here are the “Democratic” Senators that voted YES on the GOP budget that doesn’t protect Medicare and Social Security:

Schumer-NY
Fetterman-PA
Cortez-Masto-NV
Durbin-IL
King-ME
Schatz-HI
Hassan-NH
Peters-MI
Gillibrand-NY
Shaheen-NH

They should all face primaries.
