I’m usually out on most dandan variants because they feel like they’re just trying to shoehorn the idea into another color but this feels like it’s actually trying to embody an archetype. I am very interested.

Had a lot of thoughts on the commander BnR beforehand but I think what it comes down to is: I really WANT to like cEDH, conceptually it’s a format I could get into, but the entire meta is just deeply offputting. The nature of the rules incentivizes a combo gameplan and there’s no controls on that.

Flush the whole meta and see if cedh can develop into something with more interesting decks, and get rhystic study out of casual tables.

Was 2-0 in matches, 4-0 in games before wizards’ event tracking software crashed and my LGS had to call it since they couldn’t track match results. Balled so hard they had to bring down the system to stop me.

No 1-mana Druids so far but two crazy good support pieces for Seton…time will tell

You ever go to make updates to a commander deck and it only has 89 cards in it and you’re not sure why?

Finally got to play test almost everything in the value vintage battlebox last night, it’s always so fun to try a bunch of different decks and see what actually clicks for your playstyle.

This Geralf is one of my favorites, you just play a bunch of cantrips in addition. I used a deck of standard playing cards as my zombie tokens so I could lay them out sequentially- 2,3,4,5, etc
