Imagine: a Karnstein/Vordenburg social season AU inspired by Bridgerton and More Than a Best Friend where the daughter of the late Baron is out for the season after her papa has died, but she’s more preoccupied with uncovering the “mysterious illness” sweeping through the ton than finding a husband.

Imagine a series of short stories about the adventures of Styrian vampire slayer Baroness Anna Vordenburg, and French werewolf hunter Marie-Jeanne Valet.
A few weeks ago, I asked if y'all knew about any American folk horror and occult zines in the same vein as British publications such as Hellebore, Weird Walk, or Hwaet! There was great enthusiasm but not many clear answers. So, I did a little more digging, and here's what I found:
I am obsessed with French werewolf hunters and Styrian vampire slayers.
Aisling Franciosi and Damien Molony starring in a Gothic period drama together when.
"But dreams come through stone walls, light up dark rooms, or darken light ones, and their persons make their exits and their entrances as they please, and laugh at locksmiths."
—Carmilla by Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu
Give me some Karnstein/Vordenburg OCs across the centuries I’m begging! 🐈⬛🗡️
Petition for someone to write a Carmilla-adjacent story about a Karnstein and a Vordenburg following the enemies to lovers trope because vampire/hunter reasons. #Karnsburg #Vordenstein
Azzo von Klatka deserves to make his debut on the big screen.
Instead of more “Dracula” and “Nosferatu” adaptations, how about an adaptation of “The Mysterious Stranger” by Karl von Wachsmann?
a digital illustration of Carmilla and Laura from the novel 'Carmilla'. Carmilla looks at the viewer, possessive of Laura, while Laura is turned away, only her back visible. They are holding hands gently. They are standing in a victorian era room with red light coming through the large window behind them. There are paintings on the wall and a vase of black roses on table in the foreground. It feels like we're observing a quiet moment we shouldn't be seeing.
