Found a Snow Goose in Overland Park today. Pretty rare to see them this far south, even at this time of year!

Despite 7 being thought of as lucky, it was extremely unlucky for 836 people in the London Underground. My heart goes out to those who are still grieving the loss 20 years later.
Whether it's Joe Biden's son's business partner writing "the big guy" in an email when Biden was ex-vice president or Donald Trump selling crypto, NFTs, bibles, gold sneakers, watches, and cell phone plans while he is the current president, both sides have monetized executive branch positions.
The only moment in time we ever related to Tucker Carlson
That's actually just how LinkedIn dates things. You can work two days and technically work two months if you time it right.
@techconnectify.bsky.social had a very good video about this exact thing.

Didn't the same thing happen for Kansas City too?
Probably because their wages haven't increased by the same amount.
I may be tired and a little hoarse, but as I said again and again on the Senate floor, this is a moment where we cannot afford to be silent, when we must speak up.
Something that I'm a bit curious about โ how much do you factor in which election cycles they've donated in? For some people, it's more recent politics that they're concerned about. A corporation donating in the '90s but not since then might be a strong enough disconnect.
The vast majority of donations were given before 9/11, and most of the recipients were the same few state legislators.
It's fair to say that the company itself largely doesn't give much money in politics.
The owners, employees, etc. on the other hand, I have to do more research to be sure.
@goodsuniteus.bsky.social I've compiled a fair bit of info about Price Chopper for the Kansas City area. The Price Chopper on your app is about the chain that's found in upstate New York.
The KC stores mostly donated to Republicans, but in small quantities (โค$100), and none in the past 10 years.
Things Democratic Senators could do that would be useful:
- Withdraw unanimous consent from all Senate business until constitutional rule was restored
- Refuse to vote for any legislation until constitutional rule was restored
- Boycott as a caucus until constitutional rule was restored
July 4th is also a federal holiday, and it helped launch the beginning of a war of independence. 1865 was the *end* of the Civil War, as it was winding down. Not exactly the best analogy.
I'd like to add this took place in Oakley, which is far western Kansas. It is not only one of the most Republican areas in the state, but it's also several hours away from any population center which may have substantial Democrats (e.g. I-70 cities, Wichita). These people are most likely locals.
@jumpovertheage.com Got maybe 75% of the way through the first one. I'm now getting through the second one, and I'm enjoying it thus far. The art design, soundtrack, and writing are all great!
Filet mignon with sauteed onions, Brussels sprouts, and sweet mashed potatoes. Gonna watch some Cowboy Bebop with the fiancee ๐
I decided to look into the specifics of the deletion. The local sources I believe are good enough to warrant it being kept, for they are extended interviews and not necessarily connected with mere incidental announcements. I left my vote in the discussion accordingly.

Just pledged $5 towards this. Newgrounds wasn't a *huge* part of what I consumed, but I definitely respect what it has done for the Internet. It's the only way to play those old flash games still!
We're screwed now. ๐ถ
The flag will be at half staff on Inauguration Day. How fitting.
Something to be said about Jimmy Carter, one of our most religious presidents, dying on Sunday, the day of rest.
I just realized, are there no ads on this site currently? I'm sure that won't last but it's pretty nice to be able to scroll for a few seconds without being sold some dropshipped garbage or have some engagement farming dipshit trying to earn $6 Elonbucks instead of getting a job.
Callisto was always the most beautiful of the Galilean moons. Io just looked like cartoony vomit.
Good picture tho!
